- The banquet ended successfully but some guests stayed in the mansion after that. Jack didn’t seem to mind them but it was only getting harder for me each day with people in the hallway, talking behind my back. It was too much for me to listen to the rumors so I decided to keep myself in the bedroom and had my meals alone.
- “Miss, the Alpha wants to see you.”
