• Jack stared at me, his gaze was soft and calm as if hiding an unspoken promise. My heart was beating fast but steady, and for a moment, I thought I heard his heart beating the same rhythm as mine. One thing was certain, it wasn’t just a gaze, but a moment of pure connection.
• He took a step closer, and his hand lifted my chin, keeping our gazes locked. Jack bent down and closed his eyes. I did the same and in the next second, our lips met. It was a slow and gentle kiss, our lips moved in synchronization, matching each other’s pace delicately, like whispers between souls.
