Chapter 34 A Miscarriage
- When Henry woke up, he was greeted with a strong antiseptic smell around him. He slowly sat up in bed. "President Baker," his secretary called as she hurried over to help him up. He waved her off. "I'm fine. How's Xavier?" he asked.
- "He went through a minor surgery, and he's safe now. He hasn't woken up since the accident," the secretary replied. "You suffered a slight concussion, and the doctor said that you need a lot of rest. Would you like to sleep for a while more?" she asked.
- Right then, Henry recalled the blood that he saw trickling down from Wisteria's leg, and he pressed his lips together. He was silent for a moment before he decided to ask about her. "How is Wisteria?"
