Upon waking, Samantha Yeager was greeted by a faint scent of disinfectant tickling her nose. It was a familiar aroma, one that immediately informed her she was in the hospital. Slowly, she opened her eyes, only to be met with the harsh brightness of the ceiling light that caused her discomfort. Shutting her eyes once more, she eventually mustered the strength to peek again, finding Wilma Gonzales cradling Bizzy by her side. With relief evident in her voice, Wilma Gonzales inquired, "Mrs. Yeager, are you awake?"
Attempting to sit up, Samantha Yeager quickly realized her extreme weakness, rendering her unable to move. "The doctor mentioned your frailty, so please refrain from getting up and focus on resting," Wilma Gonzales advised.
Yearning to hold her son, Samantha Yeager reached out for Bizzy. Understanding her desire, Wilma Gonzales gently placed Bizzy on the bed beside her. "I want to hold him," Samantha Yeager expressed.
