- Clarice was not at all surprised when she found herself in Elijah's bed when she woke up the next morning. As usual, she went to wash up after getting out of bed.
- By the time she was done, Elijah had already finished preparing breakfast. He had a pine green apron on him and the smell of delicious food was wafting through the kitchen when Clarice came in.
