Chapter 20 I Beg Of You To Spare Me
- “You want to know?' Xavier smirked menacingly, then continued, “But why should I tell you? I want you to suffer ten times, hundred times the humiliation, pain, and despair you brought on to me. - “I will not tell you, Clarice. I hate you. I hate you so much I would kill you if I can. But death would be too easy for you. Instead, I want you to live in agony for the rest of your life. I want you to be my wife, Mrs. Zimmerman, but only in name!” Xavier gave her a cold-eyed stare, lit a cigarette, and started to smoke leisurely.
