Chapter 24 The Phone Call
- After Derrick went into his bedroom, he took a bath. As he walked out and put on his evening robe, preparing to go downstairs for dinner with his mother, Derrick decided to phone Alexa to check if her phone was reachable.
- "Hello," Derrick said as soon as the phone call connected.
- "Hi, good evening, sir," Alexa replied, and Derrick questioned her, "Do you know who is speaking?"
