• Miranda had finished her dinner and returned to her room to take a bath. She tried not to think about Derrick, his mother, or how her day had been hectic with a lot of jealous maids gossiping about her.
• Miranda entered the bathroom, and as she was finishing her bath, she heard a knock on her bedroom door, startling her just as she walked out.
• "Who's there?" Miranda inquired, and Juliet quickly peeked her head into Miranda's room to inform her, "Miranda, Master Derrick requests to see you upstairs immediately."
