Chapter 86 – Seeking Forgiveness

• Orion, Lilith, and Wysteria reached the palace grounds just shy of sunrise, the day before the full moon. As they walked through the grounds, many of the warriors from the different packs stopped their training to growl at the vampires.
• Orion's unease grew as the wolf warriors eyed them with suspicion and hostility. He couldn't blame them — after all, he and Lilith were vampires. Not exactly welcome faces. The tension in the air grew as they continued walking, and Orion felt like an outsider in this world.
• Lilith exchanged glances with Orion, her expression tight. “It seems we have quite the reputation among the wolves,” she muttered under her breath.
