Chapter 35 – Unlikely Alliance

• In a secluded chamber deep within the Forbidden Forest, Zephyrus, slowly tapped his fingers on the marble table as he waited for the arrival of Queen Isabella. He had heard whispers of her hatred towards the wolf realm, and he saw an opportunity to exploit her animosity for his own nefarious plans.
• As the darkness of the forest enveloped the chamber, Zephyrus chanted ancient incantations, summoning Isabella to his presence. The air crackled with dark energy, and a cloud of black smoke billowed, revealing the queen of the Forbidden Forest, Isabella herself. Isabella's eyes narrowed as she stepped into the chamber, her black cloak swirling around her like a shroud of shadows.
• “What do you want, Zephyrus?” she hissed, her voice laced with venom and disdain. It was the second time that day that she was bothered with trespassers into her solitude.
