Chapter 31 – Gift For My Beloved

• It had been three days since Andromeda saw Alexander last. Despite trying to call and text him several times, he didn’t respond. She tried going to the palace to see him, but she was turned away at the gates. The guards mentioned something about heightened security. She couldn’t even see Faye or Hector. Neither of them wanting to speak to her at the moment.
• Back at the pack house, Andromeda was sitting at her father’s desk in his study. Staring at the dark walls, thinking about everything that happened. In a matter of days, it seemed like she lost everyone close to her. Resting her head in her hands, she closed her eyes and tried to figure out how to fix all the wrongs. So wrapped up in her thoughts, she did not hear her mother come into the room and sit in the chair in front of her.
• It was the first day Elise came out of her room since Jaron’s death. Sitting in his office, she did her best to calm her emotions and focus on her daughter.
