Chapter 21 – The Night Of Ambush

• Anticipation for the battle with the rogues intensified as Alexander, Jaron, Peter and 150 brave warriors, all in wolf form, raced through the lush forest, north of the New Moon Pack. Alexander, in his lycan form, was much faster than the normal wolves, so he would take the lead and scout the area before the others joined him. It would take two days to reach the border.
• Feeling exhaustion after running for so long, Jaron decided to make camp and allow the young wolves time to rest. Setting up camp in a clearing next to the river, the warriors set up tents and cooled off in the water.
• Jaron walked over to Alexander as he was having a conversation with a recruit. He never had a chance to really talk to the young man, so he wanted to use the opportunity he had. Especially since it appeared the relationship between him, and Andromeda was moving forward.
