• Amelia and I didn’t go to bed until very late that night. We took a shower together which quickly turned into something else and when we finally settled in bed, I couldn’t stop myself from tasting her until she passed out from exhaustion. I hadn’t realized how tense I was until I got home to see the patio set and it was a testament to how well she knew me.
• By the time I woke up the next morning, I felt better than I had in a very long time. She was still sleeping when I rolled out of bed and I couldn’t help but watch her for a while. She looked peaceful with her soft snores and I couldn’t stop the corner of my mouth from tilting up in a small smile.
