He went to sit next to her and held her hand in his. His tears rolled down his cheeks. He stayed by her side all through the night till morning. Julia had woken up a couple of times all through the night till morning but she went back to sleep after a few minutes.
Jason knew she didn't want to see him and he didn't want her to see him in tears, so he decided to leave before the effect of the medication wore off and she was fully awake.
Outside the ward, he paid her medical bills in full to have her treated and bought a newly furnished apartment in her name. He got her a housekeeper and instructed her to take care of her.
