• At the hospital, James pleaded with the officers to allow him to see how his baby was doing. Seeing the honest look in his eyes, they agreed, but one officer went with him. James went to the unit where Lily was kept under close monitoring but she was not there. He started panicking as he scanned the whole room frantically.
• "No, she was here last night. Let me ask the doctor. Maybe they moved her to the nursery," James said and the officer stared at him wondering if this was just a trick to get away, but before he could say anything to James who looked very worried a doctor walked to the scene.
• "Doctor, how is Lily?" James asked looking very anxious, and the officer stood there looking on.
