• “Where are we going?”
• I asked when Hugo woke me up in the middle of the night. He was wearing a casual outfit while Hunter was taking some clothes from my closet. “What are you guys doing?” I was confused for the whole minute until Hugo answered.
• “We need to go somewhere safe. Your father told them where to find us and we need to keep you and our babies safe, okay?” He was panting, gasping as if both of them just came home from a long run.
