Chapter 26

• I woke up hearing noises from my surroundings. I can hear some people arguing but they are trying their best to keep quiet.
• "We need to tell her the result." I heard mom's voice, it was firm and hard as she spoke to dad who had no emotions in his voice.
• "She'll be stressed out if she knew. Something might happen to her kids." As soon as I heard those words I immediately jolted from the bed, causing all of them in the room to startle.
