Chapter 37 Mother's Sacrifice

• The constant knock on the door must have woken her from her deep slumber,she opened her eyes grudgingly only to discover it was daybreak already. She must have slept so much as a result of the excess alcohol she took the previous night. She mumbled something sleepily as the knock continued then she heard her mother's voice.
• Mother!
• She was shocked than surprised, she stepped out of the bed and wore her flip-flops, finding her jacket wasn't even necessary. She rushed immediately to open the door, she found a worried and angry mother.
