• The little kid seemed tense under Ruby's scrutinizing gaze. Slowly, he looked up at President Lee and asked in a small voice, "Is she my mommy?"
• The question was directed to Lee, but Natalie could not help but look at him in confusion. What was this game of mommy and not mommy?
• Without delay, Lee nodded his head, holding Natalie's gaze. "She is your mommy!" He did not have any room for compromising. He was going to make sure that his plans worked.
