Chapter 7 Let's Talk

  • Cynthia's heart skipped a beat. “Why are we driving? Where Are We Going?”
  • “Why?”
  • “Afraid I'll eat you?”
  • As the man approached, Cynthia moved aside, curled up in the corner of the seat like a scared kitten.
  • “Well, show me the guts you had when you drugged me.”
  • “I didn't drug you,” he retorted, his scornful eyes piercing Cynthia's heart like knives
  • “You Expect Me to believe that?”
  • Whether or not she drugged him is less important to Reginald than the fact that he caught the woman.
  • Once countless times in the mind how many ways to torture her, and now finally have the opportunity to try again and again, absolutely let her live worse than death.
  • “It really wasn't me. I just happened to pass by, and then you suddenly rushed in, and... and then...”
  • Cynthia couldn't say it.
  • Tears had clouded her eyes, and the whole of that night had come back to life as a nightmare, and she was trembling with fear.
  • “What?”
  • Reginald was still closing in on Cynthia. His sharp gaze was like a knife to Cynthia's throat, making her dare not move or even breathe. Her mind went blank. She just stared at him with her beautiful eyes like a stiff corpse.
  • “Speak.”
  • The man's hand pinched her soft and round chin. He was still getting closer, and his gaze landed on her pink lips. His mind was full of the sweetness that he had absorbed that night, and it was damn addictive.
  • The breath coming out of his nose was entangled as he watched him get closer and closer. Everything from that night, the tearing pain, and his mother's wide-open eyes when she passed away were all replaying in his mind.
  • He was a demon!
  • It was she who had been afraid for five years, wanting to be afraid over and over again, but holding her by the throat again.
  • ”...”
  • Suddenly, the woman's body went limp, like a sleeping cat in the car seat.
  • Reginald froze, looking at everything in disbelief, damn it, he still do everything, this woman dares faint.
  • “Back to the Empire.”
  • The man sat back down in frustration and tugged at his collar.
  • Son of a bitch!
  • Clearly wanted revenge, why to see this woman because of fear into a coma, he actually felt a sense of guilt.
  • The car slowly drove into the garage. The white-gloved driver opened the car door and was dumbfounded to see Mr. Reginald, who had always been a clean freak, personally carrying the woman out of the car. It was even a princess carrying her.
  • “En...”
  • Cynthia's heart skipped a beat as she awoke and she sprang to her feet.
  • What greeted her sight was an exaggerated bedroom. It was luxuriously decorated, but the color palette was black and white. It exuded an eerie aura that reminded her of that terrifying man.
  • “Awake!”
  • The magnetic voice of the man was beautiful in the quiet bedroom, but to Cynthia's ears, it was Satan's voice, and it was eerie.
  • “You, you...”
  • She looked at him as if she had just seen a ghost. She shrank back toward the headboard of the bed.
  • Beverly, who was planning on scaring her, scowls. It's weird. Does he look that scary? Why does this woman look at him like she's seen a Ghost?”
  • “What do you want?”
  • Cynthia finally found her voice, only to shiver and mumble.
  • “What do you think I want?”
  • Reginald could not bear to frighten her, for fear that the timid woman would faint again, and he would be too busy getting her to a doctor.
  • “I don't know.”
  • Cynthia stared at him like a thief, clutching the quilt tightly. Her knuckles were white. She was so nervous, it was as if she could faint at any moment.
  • Reginald had to say, “Relax. I'm not a man-eating tiger. Why Are You So Scared?”
  • Seriously!
  • Cynthia has seen a man-eating tiger before, and it's not as scary as facing him.
  • “Tell me what happened.”
  • Reginald didn't move forward. He stopped three meters away from the bed and looked at the woman with a smile on his face.
  • It was like a cat playing with a mouse. Cynthia was the poor little mother mouse.
  • “I told you, I was just passing by and you attacked me.”
  • Cynthia was adamant that Reginald was a bad guy.
  • It's true.
  • When she desperately resisted, but still yield in his claws.
  • “Still stubborn? Back then, you drugged me and hid in the room to seduce me to sleep with you. In the end, you got pregnant as you wished. Now that the child is older, do you think you can use the child to rise to the top and become Mrs.Reginald?”
