Chapter 17 The Feelings

• I had no idea what I was getting myself into but I was certain that I had feelings for the princess. Indeed, she was out of my league. She carried a powerful title, she was beautiful and gracious and educated and was everything else I wasn't. I admired her from close and afar, and every nerves in my body would try its all to recoil from speaking to her but I couldn't help myself. I knew I would mentally beat myself up if I hadn't told her how I felt.
• Ariana was irresisible in my eyes. I thought about her all day and everyday, especially after our first kiss but there was a distance between us and a fear for what we were becoming and meaning for each other.
