Chapter 4 The Prophecy
- Werewolves’ World;
- Lucas;
- Lucas woke up from his soft mattress, he thrust himself out of bed and stretched out across the luxurious carpet, to the coffee maker.
- “Good morning, to the only existing species of his kind,” Willow announced.
- Lucas rolled his eyes in frustration, “Why the f**k are you here today, Willow? I have told you to stop teleporting yourself into my house. Don’t witches understand what is called, courtesy?” He sighed.
- Willow moved toward the coffee maker to help herself with coffee. “You should be grateful, you have a friend like me.”
- “Willowww… I do not need your friendship. And… stop coming to my house.” Lucas moved to his dressing table, and leaned on it.
- “Stop wasting your precious time by asking me to leave, my perfect handsome were-pire. You know, sometimes I wish our
- Coven had a handsome male witch, who looked just like you. I would…” she suddenly froze with the cup of coffee in her hand.
- The lights in Lucas's bedroom began to flicker in and out of darkness. A gust of wind swept through the room, knocking Lucas’s vase off the table. His windows compete in a resonating thud, opening and closing.
- Willow’s eyes glowed white, and her hair wild around her face, she maliciously smirked. “The one who seeks revenge is back. Destined, never to remember her past life. Her cursed blood will wipe away the existence of the werewolves, and vampires. The dawn of a blood bath is close.” Willow said, and in a few seconds, her white eyes turned back into gray. She wiggled her head, arranging her hair in order.
- Lucas ran his palm through his hair, and across his face, letting out a deep breath of frustration. “Why have this stupid prophecy in my room? You just broke my five million dollar vase,” he clenched his fist, gasping rapidly. “Get.. Out of my house. A- And…” pointing a finger at her face, “Don’t ever return.” He roared.
- Willow rolled her eyes and puffed her lips, “Why do you always have to blame me for your damaged properties? It's not my fault, that I have a gift of prophecy,” placing her fingers under her chin, as her cheeks ran through her ears, revealing a bright smile on her face. She moved closer to Lucas, leaned her face forward, “What was it I prophesied about? Ehhh… was it about you?”
- Lucas shook his head in frustration and sighed, pushing her face away as he moved toward his wardrobe. “Leave… I have someplace to be,” his eyes scanned the racks of clothes in search of a perfect outfit.
- “Any luck on finding your mate?” she stared at him, slightly raising her brow, “I’ve always told you, if you can't find her, I'm here for you.”
- “I’ve found her.”
- Willow's jaw dropped, “What!” her cup of coffee almost slipped off her hand, but she suddenly held it firmly. She huffed, “Sorry, I almost broke this one,” she muttered, rolling her eyes.
- “So no luck for me?” She strolled toward Lucas, “Is she beautiful? What does her Wolf look like? Does she have any special abilities? Does she know you are an Alpha?” her lips slowly parted, showing off her white teeth as Lucas stared at her with a frustrating look on his face.
- “I said, get out of my house.”
- She moved away from him, “No… I will not. I want to meet her.” Willow responded, tossing herself on his bed.
- He gazed at her in frustration, and she smiled. He sighed and entered his bathroom.
- Willow was a very beautiful witch with gray eyes. She is from the lineage of the good witches. Her lineage had served Lucas’s family for centuries.
- The witch's species were believed to either serve a werewolf or vampire, just for protection as they were not physically strong.
- It was Willow’s turn to serve Lucas. But, aside from her abilities as a witch, she had a gift of prophecy, which she inherited from her late mother. She’d always seen Lucas as a friend and boss.
- Lucas stepped out of the bathroom, barely dripping with water. He threw some fine-fitted outfits on his body and walked out of his room.
- Willow followed closely behind him, talking to him about a lot of things.
- Lucas's head shook repeatedly in frustration as he moved toward his car, entered, and drove, leaving Willow behind.
- Human’s World;
- In a few hours, he was at the entrance of the HillStone company. Aria stepped out and her eyes widened in shock, seeing Lucas parked in front of her company.
- He skidded down the car window, “Hey.. Come in.”
- Aria opened the door and slipped down on the passenger's seat, “How did you know where to find me?”
- “You told me how?”
- Her eyes darted back and forth in confusion, “No I didn't. Anyway, I wanted to call you over, but remembered I didn't have your call number,” she stretched her palm forward, “Give me your phone.”
- “I don't have one.”
- “What! Who doesn't have a phone in the 21st Century?”
- “I, Lucas, I don't.” He coldly responded.
- “You are very unbelievable,” she withheld her palm and stretched some documents at him, “These are the contract papers, read through and sign. We will need to head somewhere. I need to show you the people you have to protect me from.”
- He took the documents and signed them.
- She whiffed in surprise, “You didn’t even read through. What if…?” Her words were cut short as Lucas leaned his face forward to hers. She draws her head backward, almost resting it on the window.
- Lucas gazed right into her eyes, his face moving closer and closer with each passing second. His eyes scanned her face and halted at her full pouty lips. He drew his lips closer, both lips almost touching each other, “My mate looks more beautiful today.” He faintly smiled, dragging her seatbelt and fixing it. Then moved his face away from hers.
- Aria anxiously cleared her throat, letting out a breath of relief.
- Lucas stared at his reflection in the inner mirror, threw sunglasses on his face, “What direction?”
- She gazed at him and smiled, “Just follow the map on the map indicator.”
- “Ok,” he coldly responded and drove off.
- Lucas drove through the garage of the Crawford family mansion and packed the car aside. The garage was filled with cars like an event was going on.
- Aria led Lucas into the building. Finally, they found themselves on the highest floor which led to the massive Crawford living room.
- The Crawford had a family tradition of gathering once every year. Luckily for Aria, today was the day, so she decided to introduce Lucas to her extended family, and also show him the people making her life a living hell.
- They entered the living room. Lucas's sight landed on the faces of the people seated on the couch, and he froze in shock. He couldn't believe what he was seeing, people from his past.
- His eyes darted back and forth in confusion, his mind racing as he tried to make sense of how his birth parents and best friend were seated right in front of his eyes.
