Chapter 24 I Miss Him

• I stood in the midst of Jasper and Lucas, confused. Not knowing what to make of their madness, but I knew getting mad right now was not the best. I threw my gaze right at Lucas’ eyes. “Let go of me, I'm going home with my husband,” I coldly uttered.
• About to take a walk, but halted my step, “One more thing Lucas, we are done with our contract as of today,” tears pricked by the side of my eyes as I spoke those words to him.
• He gently freed his hold on me. I knew that he was heartbroken, but I was left with no choice but to choose my husband over him. Without taking another look at his face, I stormed out of my hospital ward to go wait for Jasper inside the car.
