• Zara’s lips slightly parted as she made to utter the word I was waiting for, when Lucas roared and clutched her neck in a very aggressive way pushing her to the wall. His action sent a chill down my spine, because I had never seen him act this way toward anyone, let alone a lady. For the first time, Lucas acted like a beast.
• I rushed toward him, holding his hand, trying to free Zara’s neck from his clasp. “What’s wrong with you Lucas? You are hurting her!” I struggled with his hand as he finally let go of her.
• Zara held her throat, choking hard as she stormed out of the room.
