Chapter 8 Confusion

• JUST LIKE HOW I reacted the moment Asher said those words aloud in the middle of the cafeteria, I believe everyone had the same reaction as mine. My eyes widened in surprise, I couldn’t move right away as I was still processing what he just said.
• “A-asher! What do you mean by that?!” Brittany shouted, she ran towards Asher and tried to hold his arm but Asher quickly shoved him away. She was surprised at how Asher acted towards her. “B-babe…” Her eyes glistened in tears.
• “Don’t touch me, Brittany! I have to talk to this bastard!”
• “You clearly said you didn't want her as your mate! What changed your mind?!” Felix shouted. He ascended towards Asher and pushed him in the chest which angered Asher even more. I tried to stop them but pushed away when Asher answered Felix’s push with a punch in his face. The fight between them continued and I couldn’t do anything about it but watch as they ruined the cafeteria with both their strengths! If it’s not because of a loud shout from our Mr. Principal, they won’t stop their fights!
• “Felix, Asher! Stop this mess or else this will reach your father!” he announced.
• Both of them stopped but still glaring at each other. Felix wiped the blood in his lips, his eyes flickered back to the natural color of his eyes and his jaw clenched before glancing at me.
• “Iris, come on!” Felix said.
• I quickly nodded and walked towards him while Asher continued glaring at us. I believe that this fight won’t end sooner and I have to do something about this…
• Between Felix and Asher, of course, I would choose Felix over Asher who quickly declined me as soon as he found out that I am his mate. But what’s making it harder now is the fact that Asher doesn’t want to reject me. If I try to reject him, he will be stubborn and won’t accept the rejection. What also bothers me, was the fact that the twins are both my mates at the same time. In our pack, I haven’t heard of that situation before, even twins have different mates…
• So why is it happening now? Was it because they are Alpha’s sons? Maybe they have to be connected with one Luna to be able to lead the pack effectively. Darn, just by thinking of the fact that I will be the pack’s Luna and with both of them, it’s already sending shivers down my spine! The image of us in the same room and in the same bed…
• “Iris? Are you okay?”
• I was snapped out of what I was thinking when I heard Felix's voice. I quickly realized that I don’t want a life like that! I should reject Asher as soon as possible.
• “I’m fine, I was just thinking about the fight between you and your twin brother… This shouldn’t happen,” I answered.
• Felix sighed and held my hand as he looked into my eyes. “You need to reject him and choose me.”
• The way he looked at me, even though it’s kind of cold, I can see sincerity in it. “If you accept me as your mate, I will be your Luna once you inherit the throne as Alpha.”
• “Of course, I know that. What’s wrong with being my Luna?”
• “I’m an omega, you know that.”
• Felix shook his head. “I’ve been studying about the book of law inside our pack and I never saw anything about an Alpha marrying an omega she-wolf to become a Luna. I believe there’s nothing wrong with it.”
• “What about your father? What would he say if he finds out?”
• “He’ll give us his blessing. Why are you so bothered with everything? Just be happy that I accepted you as my mate!” Felix snarled and pulled me closer to him, his arm snaked around my waist and to be honest I am uncomfortable with the way he does it. “Don’t think of everyone else, Iris. Just think about us,” he said on top of my head as he planted a kiss on it.
• I nodded and we continued walking our way back to our classrooms. The whole time we’re walking, I was just hiding my face from everyone. Because even though Felix told me not to think of them, I still feel conscious. I'm still processing everything in my mind. All I want is a mate who will be with me and will fight for me. But now that my dream came true, why does it feel weird?
• When we reached my class room, Felix finally let go of me.
• “See you after class,” he said. Then he leaned closer to me and gave me a peck on the lips.
• My face heated up at what he did! His lips touched mine for a matter of second but the soft and warmth of it stayed! It was the first time that I was kissed by the lips!
• “I’ll bring you to our house later,” Felix said before he finally left.
• I know how crimson red my cheeks are right now! He's going to bring me to their house? In the Alpha’s house? But why? Is there an important event or was he going to introduce me to his father?
• A lot of images processed through my head as I waited for the class to end. When the time came, I quickly stood up and cleared my table, putting all of my things in my bag. But when I finally put it behind me, Francine and Kate stopped in front of me.
• In the past week, they stopped bothering me and I thought they wouldn't talk to me again. However, today, I believe it’s different.
• “Hi, Iris!” Francine greeted with a wide smile on her lips.
• I awkwardly looked up at her with confusion and answered, “Hi…”
• I never thought she would greet me the way she just did.
• “Are you free tonight?”
• I blinked, my mouth gaped before I finally found a word. “What?”
• “What she meant is, are you free tonight so we can have time together? To go shopping or eat outside?” Kate answered instead.
• “Are you serious?”
• “Yes! Of course, we are serious. We know that we started the wrong way but we also think it’s not the end yet to start a new friendship, right?” Francine said smiling.
• Goddess, this is surprising!
• I didn't know what to answer. Because it's not something that would came up to me everyday!
• “I… don‘t know… but…”
• “Iris!”
• We are both interrupted by Felix. I cocked my head towards the door and saw him walking towards me. He snatched my hand before he glanced at Francine and Kate behind me.
• “What are you doing to her?” he asked.
• I quickly shook my head. “They’re just talking to me, don't worry. We should go now.”
• Felix stared at both of the girls for seconds before he finally believed and we went out of the classroom. When we finally went out, I quickly asked him.
• “Are we really going to your house?”
• “Yes.”
• “What for? I mean, I believe it's not the right time to introduce me to your father…” I shyly said.
• Felix stopped walking and arched his brow. “Of course not, I'll wait until you’re ready for that.”
• “But why are we going to go there?”
• Nervous ate up my chest as I waited for him to answer.
• “We’re in a relationship now, I believe it's natural,” he said.
