I felt guilty when I lied to Iris that nothing happened between me and Samantha. When Iris told me that she didn’t feel the same way as what I’m feeling towards her, I know she felt it. But she was just stopping herself for a reason that she’s not telling me… I was hurt and planned to just accept the fact that she didn’t want me as her mate. Then I decided to just accept Samantha as my fiancee.
Samantha kissed me, but I didn’t like it. She kissed me but I was thinking of Iris. My pain with how Iris doesn’t want me as his mate was there as I kissed Samantha and so we were about to do something. We were on the edge of doing it when a knock came through the door of my office. It’s like Rosita saved me when he brought me a coffee. I asked if Iris came back from school and she told me she did… but Iris seemed to be in pain so I left Samantha in the office and came to my bedroom to check on her.
