• The rest of the day, I went around the office chasing after Rosie the secretary and I finally got the files Diana was asking for. But when I entered her office at 2.30 PM to give her the files, she already went out. Or home. I didn’t know. Either way, she wasn’t there.
• I felt so lost being here. Literally and metaphorically. My next task was to get some documents signed by Mr. Burke in accounting. I spent thirty minutes trying to locate Mr. Burke’s office, and when I finally did, I learned that Mr. Burke wasn’t in the office the entire day. He was out sick with the flu.
