• Rina’s POV
• The cold night air hit me like a slap as I stumbled out of the warehouse, my steps unsteady and my heart heavy. My dress was torn, my shoes gone, and my body ached from the way Mia had pushed me to the ground before her driver threw me out.
• I looked around. There was no one. Nothing but the oppressive darkness of an unfamiliar area. The faint hum of the wind brushing past the abandoned buildings only made me feel smaller, more insignificant. My bare feet met the sharp gravel as I stepped forward, each stone digging into my skin like a cruel reminder of how far I'd fallen.
