• "I don't know what you are talking about," Melissa said, then turned her attention back to the table. She wiped her laptop with the dry clothe, closed the device, and put it in her handbag.
• "What are you doing?" Betty asked. "You can't avoid all situations by staying quiet or walking away.
• Melissa heaved a deep sigh, turning sideways to look at Betty. "It's been from one thing to the other. Yeah, Damien and I are not on good terms but I thought I could manage to work here regardless but it seems really impossible as each day goes by."
