Chapter 359

• After the birth of our princess, Samuel and I agreed we would get pregnant again only when I was ready. True, I was ready but I wasn't ready for two at a time so the news was really hard to take in. Nothing the ob-gyn said that day was enough to put a smile to my face. Unlike Sam, I had shed tears at that moment. They weren't really tears of joy. I guess I had to cry because of how scared I was. I remember going into the hospital with the biggest smile on my face and coming out with a worried look.
• Samuel did everything in his power to make me see reasons why I should be happy and grateful but still, I was worried. Usually, we would have surprised my parents about my pregnancy like the way we did when I was pregnant with my daughter and they were thrilled to know they were going to be grandparents but due to my insecurities, Sam literally forced me to speak to my mom about it. Since she birthed my twin siblings(Daniel and David), Samuel thought no one could understand what I was going through better than my mom who should I say was more excited than I was. She was thrilled to have twin grandbabies and she was able to calm me down a little with her words. I mean, I had Sam, my daughter, My parents and friends to lean on so I wondered what the hell I was afraid of. Perhaps, I was just overwhelmed.
• Of course, my crazy best friends, Isabelle and Seraphina were so freaking excited. But my daughter's reaction made me feel so overwhelmed. Though Samuel and I had announced to her that I was pregnant and a younger sibling was on the way for her and she was happy and cool about it but hearing she was going to be a big sister of two at the same time, She teared up which made me tear up also. I guess her reaction made me believe that being pregnant with twins was really worth it. Sam and I had been telling her about the duties of a big sister and she was more than happy to take up the responsibility for her two younger siblings.
