• Damn it! I sent the laptop and other stuff including files and folders catapulting in the air where they lingered animatedly for about a second and came crashing down on the floor with a loud boom.
• Dropping my head in my hands, I squeezed my eyes shut as I tried to erase that look of remorse I had seen in Jade's eyes. I knew she would take a toll on me. Her gaze would make it a lot harder than it already was, which is why I decided to avoid her. But I hadn't expected to meet her moist eyes like I did thirty minutes ago.
