Chapter 1990 A Call
- Cindy couldn't explain too much, so she just nodded and went to her office. When she came in, she noticed that something was off. Everyone was staring at their screen, as if they were working hard, but actually, they were all glancing at her. She knew what they were thinking, and she wanted to laugh. They thought I was a pushover, so they kept mocking me, but now they know I have a powerful backer, none of them are even talking about me anymore. Wow, the workplace is one mini society.
- She went back to her seat, and this time, no one dared to gather around and mock her. When lunchtime came, she sorted out her prior designs and put it on Serena's desk. When she came out of Serena's office, she saw the lady who argued with her earlier heading toward the elevator. Cindy had nothing to hide, so she strode over.
- However, the lady seemed scared to see her, so she looked away and waited for the next ride instead of going into the same elevator as Cindy. The people who came in with her stayed a few feet away from her as well. They used to dislike her, but now they feared her.
