- Ian was sitting cross-legged on the edge of the bed, reading through the articles regarding his scandal with bemusement. Upon seeing him, Cindy quickly explained, “Ms. Jones will be handling the scandal, and we have proof with us, so we have nothing to be afraid of.”
- Smiling, Ian replied, “I’m not afraid. Instead, I find this whole thing amusing.”
- Cindy heaved a sigh. “Ms. Jones told me that the entertainment industry is complicated as heck, so she wanted me to be on alert at all times. I used to think that I was being overly cautious, but such precautions really are warranted.”
