Chapter 34 Like This Place

• When Lucy woke up, the sound of vehicles honking and moving, people’s laughter and chatters, and a soft music from a distance were the first things that greeted her.
• She stretched on the bed, then got down and walked up to the window to look outside.
• The whole area was bustling unlike the usually silent residential area she lived. People went back and forth, mostly dressed in workers uniform. And children were getting into the huge school bus which had pulled over at the street side.
