• Amelia remained static for a couple of seconds, not knowing exactly what she should do, whether to let go of the child or continue carrying him in her arms. She chose the first option as the best; she did not know what was in Maximiliano's eyes, but she did not want him to misinterpret the situation, although on the one hand, she knew there was nothing to misinterpret in the scene of her carrying the child and giving him the tea she had prepared with so much effort.
