Chapter 40 Desire

• DANTE’S POV
• My guards arrived Rome yesterday and they’re staying at a different hotel, spread out in different rooms and all under fake names. I think it’s best that my guards don’t know where I’m staying. We already have everything set up and all what’s left to do now is make the phone call.
• I have a device that will stop the person I’m calling from tracking the location of my call so he doesn’t even need to know that I’m in Rome already. Marco, Valencia and Isabella all sit in a circle around me as I make the phone call and put it on speaker. The person on the other side of the phone answers almost immediately, as if they were impatiently waiting for a phone call.
