Chapter 14 Witness A Torture

• ISABELLA’S POV
• “Do we really need to torture him here? This is where I sleep and I don’t want to have nightmares.” I say to Dante as we walk down the stairs towards his torture room and my heart beats frantically in my chest. I’ve seen someone get killed before. I’ve even seen someone start getting tortured but I never liked to stay until the end.
• I’ve always been more sympathetic compared to everyone around me. And I don’t know if that makes me a hypocrite or not because I never tried to save those people who were getting tortured or killed. I always just turned a blind eye to it because father and Tony always told me that if given the chance, these people won’t hesitate to kill me and I experienced that first-hand the day I let Dante’s house.
