• "What is happening?" A voice that I recognized as Dmitri's asked. I quickly tilted my head to peek at him. He was standing behind us, holding a gun with blood dribbled on his grey Tee.
• My nerves relaxed. I crept through the tiny space between Rodion and the wall then trekked to Dmitri. "I was looking for you."
• "And here I am, darling. Can I help you?" He offered one of his sexy smiles. I admitted he had some characteristics of Rodion but the side of him that got me forgetting that my life was a mess was his jovial moods.
