Chapter 16

• I turned to him and began to unbutton his shirt for him to get air. I couldn't see well as my eyes were blurry from the tears but I was doing it. The dog's behaviour made me weak. I wondered what it was feeling inside. It had a heart.
• "Rodion yo-" I was about to speak when I felt a grip on my hand. I gasped while jerking away in shock but his grip was tight.
• I quickly blinked off my tears as I fought for my hands to be freed. He tightened the grip making me wince in pain in my bones.
