Chapter 61
- MATILDA
- The days went by suddenly. I invested the greater part of my energy with mother. Each second she spent rested up in the medical clinic, I was adjacent to her. I even got to see a portion of the ladies and young ladies from the massage parlors come in and get looked at. I possibly watched from far off and kept down my wheeze when I saw the little kid I had met during my frightening stay there, Sylvia. Fortunately, to assist with keeping our story concealed, she didn't see me, yet I had a reasonable perspective on her.
- Sylvia was concealed in a clinic outfit, her hair was perfect, and there was a brilliance in her eyes I was unable to see under the obscurity of the room we were in. It was encouraging to see her alive, and indeed, and free.
