• I shut my eyes, embracing for an effect. I saw the search in Fidelis' eyes, I saw inside the .005 seconds that it took for the shot to pierce through the air. As though I were gazing into the eye of a tiger, I watched the place of the slug dart through the air, straightforwardly at me.
• The sum total of my thoughts was the manner by which my life would end, however it would be in every way alright on the grounds that essentially I arrived at my objective. Essentially I saved my mom. Essentially I could bite the dust, realizing that lives would be saved, and families could be brought together. Everything will work out for the best.
