Chapter 36 The Fiancée

• The flight from Ylegas to Oceandale took just over two hours. When they disembarked, Caspian had his arm wrapped around Wendy's waist, fearful that she might stumble.
• Upon exiting the airport, a line of cars awaited outside. Caspian personally escorted Wendy to one of the vehicles. He leaned in, whispering a few words into her ear before closing the car door behind her. Then, he got into another car.
• Wendy never questioned him about where he was going or what he was doing. Her obedience was akin to that of a mistress.
