I sat there on my hospital bed, with a captivated smile plastered on my lips as my eyes were fixed on the angel curled up in his little bed, peacefully asleep.

Those chubby cheeks of his were fresh and pink like a blooming rose, and those thin, but well"formed lips seemed to curve when he slept. The doctor said he was born healthy and we could take him home after the hospital allowed us to be discharged.
