Chapter 7 The Might of Liam
- "Another one looking for death?" Ethan's gaze turned icy. "What can you, alone, possibly do?"
- At that moment, Liam’s laughter suddenly echoed through the air. It was soft but cold, and when it fell into the ears of those present, it was like snow in the dead of winter, sending chills through everyone’s bodies.
- "One person may not be enough, but what about them?" As soon as the words fell, a series of blood-curdling screams erupted from behind.
- When they turned around, they saw countless Wolfe family's men being torn apart, blood and flesh flying everywhere. Several formidable figures moved like reapers, mercilessly harvesting lives!
- It was the merciless slaughter led by the Titan Mercenary Corps, the same group that dominated the Eastern Azura battlefield!
- The brutality of the massacre sent the Wolfe family’s men into a panic, howling in terror.
- Ethan was left speechless, staring in shock at the scene. It wasn’t until the smell of blood spread throughout the medical center that he snapped out of his daze, shouting, "So what if you kill all these people?"
- "My family is wealthy! You can kill a thousand, and I can hire ten thousand more!"
- "Sir, we have a problem!" Suddenly, a middle-aged man by Ethan’s side hung up his phone, rushing over in a panic. "Just now, all the Wolfe family’s underhanded deals and secret transactions were exposed online!"
- "Even the evidence of our bribery and the murders we ordered have been posted! The Wolfe family has become the focus of national attention!"
- Ethan stood frozen on the spot and asked, "What? Weren’t all those documents heavily encrypted? How could they be leaked?"
- At that moment, a middle-aged man stepped forward. "As long as there is an internet, no secret can exist before me."
- "Who... who are you?" Ethan asked in shock.
- "I am Adrian Blake, the leader of the Phantom Alliance." the man replied.
- Ethan trembled all over. Adrian was the man who ruled the world of the dark web, the undisputed king of the internet! It was rumored that he had single-handedly crippled three countries that had set their sights on Dangorge, causing them to regress by decades in an instant.
- Why would such a powerful man suddenly target him?
- "Even if you’ve exposed me, so what?"
- "At worst, I’ll abandon these businesses! With the rest of my family’s companies, I can still rule over Vexane! Your plans won’t work out the way you think—"
- Another middle-aged man in a suit stepped forward, his face cold.
- Just as Ethan was about to speak, his phone rang. After answering it, one sentence chilled him to the bone.
- All of the Wolfe family’s businesses had been severely suppressed by major conglomerates. Their partners had withdrawn investments, suppliers had cut off their goods, and all of their senior executives had resigned.
- At this moment, all of the Wolfe family’s assets had been legally transferred away.
- "How... how could this be?" Ethan stumbled, almost falling to the ground.
- Suddenly, he looked up and stared at the middle-aged man with a deathly glare. "It... it was you, wasn’t it? Who are you?"
- The man proudly responded, "I am Damiel Elser."
- Ethan’s eyes widened in shock to know that the man was actually the Jamel's elite.
- He controlled the wealth of Nine Provinces, with assets exceeding billions!
- "Mr. Elser, we have no grievances or conflicts. Why are you doing this to my family? I will sue you for the illegal seizure!"
- "Sue me? Why don’t I join you in that?"
- A man wearing gold-rimmed glasses suddenly stepped forward with a smile. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Elliot Chambers, and I’m an attorney."
- Ethan’s face turned pale.
- Elliot was the best attorney in Dangorge. He was a legend in the legal field, undefeated in over a thousand cases throughout his twenty-year career!
- What was happening? Why were all these powerful people, individuals he couldn’t even hope to approach, coming after him?
- In this dire situation, there was no time to think. Ethan, being a ruthless man himself, narrowed his eyes, his expression growing more murderous.
- "Fine! You’ve all forced my hand!" He grabbed his phone and dialed a number.
- "I’m at the Trinity Medical Center. Hurry and bring people over!"
- Not long after, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed from outside. Soon, countless soldiers armed to the teeth surrounded the area.
- A regimental commander, carrying two epaulets on his shoulders, strode forward arrogantly. "I’ve mobilized 500 men from the military district. All armed and ready for your command!"
- Ethan suddenly burst into wild laughter. "So what if you're the leader of the Phantom Alliance? So what if you’re the Jamel's elite?"
- "And you, Elliot, with all your legal tricks? "I’ll tell you this! Take back everything you’ve done to the Wolfe family, or I’ll kill every last one of you right here!"
- "Just you?" At that moment, a tall figure stepped forward, looking at Ethan with disdain.
- Ethan, backed by his 500 soldiers, shouted, "I’ve got 500 guns! You will do whatever I say!"
- "If 500 guns are enough to make you this bold, what do you think of these?" As soon as Liam finished speaking, the ground began to rumble. The sound of roaring engines shook the earth, and when everyone turned to look, they were terrified beyond belief.
- In the darkness, a dozen tanks rolled in slowly, their dark cannons aimed directly at the Wolfe family’s men! In the sky, ten helicopters hovered overhead with their cold gun barrels extending toward the crowd below.
- The previously arrogant regimental commander, upon recognizing the figure speaking, immediately dropped to his knees in fear. "General Senge!"
- Staring at them sharply, Peter said, "Is this enough? If not, I have 30 thousand soldiers from the Northern Border stationed outside Vexane. Do you want me to bring them over too?"
- Ethan’s eyes glazed over as he collapsed weakly to the ground. At this point, even a fool could understand what was happening.
- Looking at the calm figure seated in the wheelchair, his voice trembled with overwhelming fear. "Who... who are you?"
- Liam didn’t answer. Instead, everyone around him turned toward his direction and knelt on one knee in unison.
- Their respectful voices resounded through the night sky. "Master!"
