• "What's happening? Why isn't he responding?" I asked the man in the white coat as I noticed that George didn't move at all. "Doctor, why..."
• "Calm down, we'll see what happens in a moment," he requested as he motioned for me to step away from the bed to check his vital signs. He opened George's eyelids to check his reflexes, and I impatiently waited for a response that took longer than expected. "We need to keep him under observation. If the antidote arrived in time, we should see results within a couple of hours at most."
