• The sun hit the girl's face as she finally emerged from the confinement they had told her was for her recovery, but she no longer felt it that way.
• She sensed something different in her fianc茅 that she didn't understand. She didn't like that she was present during his family calls. She heard them ask about his girlfriend and he didn't even want to tell them her name. This made her question whether he wanted her to be with them or if, as he said, he just wanted to protect her.
