• Ruhi was climbing down the stairs around 6.30 AM the next morning to buy pregnancy kits when Rafael noticed her. He had returned from the gym and showered by then.
• It surprised him to see her wake up so early on a weekend. She usually struggled to get up with a dozen alarms on weekdays. He constantly heard her snooze the alarm while he walked to his room from the gym, study, or when going down to eat breakfast.
• She was still in her nightclothes. But he heard her talking to Oreo, saying she will be back soon when the dog followed her to the front door.
