• My mood had shifted for some reason. I was suddenly more positive than I'd been the night before, after I'd taken a shower.
• As I got dressed, I made a decision to dress up a little more than usual. I wanted to look good, even if it was just for myself. I put on a bright yellow sundress and a pair of sandals, and took a little extra time to style my hair.
