Chapter 40

• DANIEL'S POV.
• I woke up with a stiff neck and sore limbs. My eyes adjusted to the dim light filtering through the curtains and I saw Jessica still sleeping peacefully on the soft looking bed. I couldn't help the envy I felt at that moment. My back was as stiff as a rock.
• It was all thanks to Mum who had gone ahead and booked this so called 'romantic' suite. The plan between me and Jessica had been to go to our separate rooms after the wedding, but Mum just had to butt in and ruin everything. Despite my obvious frustration though, I couldn't be that mad at her.
