• “Daniel.” My mother said, smiling and hugging me tightly. I hugged her back and smiled, just as Alexander arrived home. I looked back at him and balled up my fists, remembering what he had done to Jackson's mother. My mother looked at me, not knowing what was going on, but she knew that there was something wrong and it would cause big trouble if I stayed here. Mom grabbed my hand and dragged me all the way to my room, I did not say anything to Alexander but the look I gave him made him visibly scared. I walked into the room closely followed by my mom who closed the door behind her.
• “What happened to your hand?” My mom asked, looking at my hand, but I quickly pulled it away from her.
